A teaser of a haul

From the title of this blog post, you may be thinking I am going to be doing a haul post. Well, here is the catch. The clothes all look a lot better on, than just sprawled on my bed! So I am going to wait to show you most of them, because I will be wearing them in my Paris pictures.
Yesterday, I went to Bournemouth town centre and went on a big shopping trip for holiday clothes, as my general clothes situation was pretty poor. I spent a lot of my parents money, and I am very grateful for all the lovely new clothes I am now in possession of. I got a pair of patterned shorts and a lace top, a skater dress and a cotton dress from H and M, two dresses from Topshop, one of which I love so much, it is very cute. I also bought a cropped jumper from Topshop to wear over the mustard-y coloured maxi dress I bought from there (if you look on my instagram @_megancrocker you can see a photo of that outfit). I got a mid-length dress from Primark which I was a bit unsure on, as I'm not very confident when it comes to pulling off clothes, and the length is a bit awkward, but I tried it on and I actually really like it! I also bought some other bits and pieces, including my prom make up selection, which I will review in greater detail soon. I also had to get some new shoes to take to Paris, and I wasn't looking forward to this as I find shoe shopping very difficult. My feet are very wide, and are super sensitive, as I have poorly feet from where I used to dance on a non-sprung floor. I used to go to a chiropodist, but I haven't been in a while. So I have to be careful when buying shoes, and they have to be super, super comfy or my feet will be torn to shreds. My mum suggested Clarkes, which I was sceptical about, because it isn't exactly a 'cool' shop. But I found a nice pair of loafers for £39.99 and they are so comfy and I actually really like them! I also bought a new suitcase, as I'm travelling to Paris just with hand luggage, so I will probably make a post about what I pack, if that's okay? I seem to have typed on for a while...so here are some photos!

This is the fabric from the really cute Topshop dress

The last photo is of some charms on my Pandora bracelet, and my mum and dad surprised me when we got home with the charm of the Eiffel Tower which was so lovely of them! I have a union jack, and the Statue of Liberty (I went to New York and Washington with my school last year), so they felt I should have one to symbolise going to Paris! They are so sweet sometimes!

Unfortunately, yesterday I dropped my iPod in the bathroom (trying to snapchat my prom practice make up!) and I cracked the screen quite badly. I'm hoping to get it repaired, but it depends on the cost and how long it will take, to how soon I get it done.

But other than yet, yesterday was a fantastic day! Sorry this post didn't really have a purpose, but I hope you enjoyed it none the less, and are having a good weekend.
Thanks for reading, Megan x
