Okay, quick note that I wrote this post last night, but my laptop went all weird and it didn't upload! But I will upload again later today too, so it's the same as posting every day haha.
Today I went to London with six of my friends (Morwenna, Lauren, Molly, Holly, Mollie and Laura) and we went up on the coach. We then got the tube (the most stressful situation of my whole life. I've been on a subway in New York. The tube is so much worse) from Victoria to Oxford Street, where we spent the day.
We started by getting a Nandos. We got to Oxford street at about twelve, so we figured we might as well eat first. We then went to H and M, then Urban Outfitters, then the massive TopShop. I was so annoyed, because I've saved up quite a lot of money, and was ready to spend it all, but I just couldn't find anything I really liked enough to buy. I'm so fussy, and I was trying to find clothes for sixth form, but nothing was really appealing to me. We wandered on down, and went to Forever 21, where I purchased some 'ankle skinny jeans' that are like grey with white dots. I don't like wearing trousers, but with winter coming up, and sixth form (not allowed to wear jeans), I will be wearing dresses and tights a lot, so it might be nice to have some jeans that I'm actually willing to wear. Then we went to Zara. This is where a few of us began to lose our minds. We were thirsty, hot, in pain (back/feet) and getting a little fractious. We then all kind of wanted to go to different places, so we split up. Basty, Lauren and I went to Boots, then to Selfridges for all the make up counters. I want to purchase some new make up, and I have the money to sort of go for the top end brands at the moment, but it was so busy and I want the Benefit thing that's like a blush and highlighter stick? Well we couldn't find the Benefit counter. Hey ho. We then went to Primark for like five seconds, then walked to Pret a Manger. We had a drink (mm yoga bunny) and then walked up to the smaller TopShop. The others couldn't find us, so we met them at Bond Street Station, caught the tube back (one stop) to Oxford Circus, then got the tube two stops to Victoria, then went back to the coach station after purchasing food for the coach. On the coach, we ate food, Basty and I listened to Rocky Horror, and we all played truth or dare via text. Love my friends so much.
I don't have any photos to post, even though I took my camera, because I took all videos! I've made a development on the YouTube front, by actual making a YouTube channel! It's just Megan Elizabeth, and I haven't posted any videos yet, but I'm going to organise my clips on my Mac, and hopefully put something half decent together, and upload a video! How exciting!

Bath Time!
I love having baths. I have a bath every night normally during term time. I feel like I need this time every night to calm down, and I find it helps me sleep better. However, I need to try to incorporate exfoliating and moisturising into my routine more regularly, as sometimes I 'can't be bothered'. Well. From now on I will be much more bothered.
I have lots of products I love to use, but I just forget. Or I get side tracked. But I love using Soap and Glory products, and stuff from The Sanctuary, as well as Lush and Body Shop products. I also am going to start using my Garnier Body summer body moisturing lotion 'sun-kissed look' to prevent my tan from fading. I also use Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Massage Lotion for Stretch Marks, because I have some faint marks on the inside of my thighs. I am also going to start to use a serum on my legs called 'inhabitif' that claims to reduce hair growth until it is virtually invisible. Worth a shot. You have to apply is twice a day for two months, which means I have to actually do it. Okay. I also purchased some VO5 Hot Oil, which are meant to give your hair moisture, which it desperately needs as its quite dry. I will review all of these products and let you know what I think!
I struggle to relax and sleep, and I often get really het up and Alex will sometimes say to me 'go have a bath. Relax.' because a bath truly does relax me, something about the smells of the soaps I use, I always use lavender bubble bath (If I have it in the cupboard) and just reading a book or listening to music and not thinking about anything calms me down and helps me to just forget about whatever it was that was making me so stressed in the first place.
This blog post is quite short, but I just wanted to keep to my promise and blog every day.

Before I get into the bath, I make sure I have everything I will need in the bathroom, like a hair tie, my kindle, my iPod, pyjamas etc. My kindle is in a waterproof case that my mum got me for when we went on holiday. We got them from Lakeland, and it means I can read my Kindle in the bath safely, because I'm pretty clumsy.
These are the VO5 Hot Oils, they are little tubes, that you heat up in hot water then apply to your hair.
This is where I store all of my 'most used' products. I go through and swap items for things in my cupboard every so often. It always has my tooth brushes, toothpastes, make up wipes, remover pads, cleanser, toner and moisturiser, and my every day make up and brushes. Everything else, like more elaborate make up, or hair products, or other moisturisers are kept in the cupboards under the sink unit.
This is what the majority of my baths look like. Bubbly, with candles around the edge. My mum doesn't trust me with real candles (rightly so. I would burn myself//the house down) so she got me some little electric ones that you turn on underneath. They give the overall feeling of being surrounded by candles anyway.
I feel like this post has been really random, but I didn't know what else to do today as nothing interesting has gone on, so I took some photos last night, and put this together today! I hope you enjoyed it. Thanks for reading, Megan x

Bank Holiday fun
Today is bank holiday Monday, and this vintage warehouse place called Molly's Den was having an open day. So, my family and I drove there to look around. The dens themselves (there are three) are like treasure troves. You can find anything and everything. They have vintage children's books, furniture, toys, cameras, clothes, glassware...pretty much all you could think off. I like to walk round and just look at all the different sections. I love the clothes most, and I always fall in love with at least one of the dresses, but I don't buy them, because I always worry I won't have anywhere to wear them! Last time I went, I bought a dress, and I have yet to wear it. I prefer the clothes upstairs, because you get the actual date of when the dress was produced. The one I have was sold in May 1969. This time around I just bought a scarf!
They had a few stalls outside, and they had three girls performing as rockabillies, or pin up girls and singing old wartime songs, called The Polka Dot Dolls. The sound they produced was just lovely, and they looked so pretty in their outfits. Its just the kind of thing I would love to do!
After we finished at Molly's Den, we drove down to Poole, and walked to the quay, where we had lunch in Deli on the Quay, which is one of my favourite places ever. I had a Moroccan Salad wrap with hummus, and a berries and cream ice cream. It was delicious.
I then came home, and I've been catching up on YouTube videos and blogs, and at seven thirty I am going to Slimming World with my mum. We haven't been for two weeks, as we were on holiday. We didn't follow the plan whilst we were away, so I anticipating a gain between one and four pounds. Tomorrow I am going to hand in my CV at a new deli near where I live, and in the afternoon I'm looking after our friends little boy. I will try to blog at some point-I made a promise! I am going to London all day on Wednesday with my friends, but I will again try to blog!

See...everything and anything!
One of the seventeen clothes sections...I counted.
This was my favourite section, the draws were filled with things and everything!
The Polka Dot Dolls, aren't they the sweetest?
I hope you had a good bank holiday weekend! Comment if you want, and please follow me if you enjoy reading my blog!

Zakynthos Holiday
On the 8th of August, my family (mum, dad and my brother Elliott) travelled to Zakynthos, or Zante for a two week holiday. It was beautiful, hot, and just a nice place to go on holiday. I made some friends, like Rachel, Luke, Kathryn, Lewis and Charlotte, and it was nice to just relax and get a tan and not really think about anything.
We stayed in the Filoxenia Hotel, which was an all-inclusive resort. The staff were all incredibly friendly, and worked insanely long hours. Dennis and his wife Sophie were lovely, as were Gerry, Grammas, Luca, Anna, Costas, Phillip, and the maids that worked there. They made us feel so welcome, and even made my brother a cake on his birthday! We did a few trips whilst there, including a jeep safari where we went to the highest point of the island, and saw some breath taking places, such as the blue coves on a boat trip. We also went on a turtle trip, where we saw one real life turtle, and we also visited the water park.
At the hotel, there were also two guys called Walid and Slim, who ran the animation team and did activities through out the day, such as water gym, a midday game, volley ball, table tennis and football. Volleyball was my favourite, but I was awful and my dad is so competitive. He won literally everything there. Even the bingo. It was ridiculous.
We went out for dinner on two occasions. We went to this restaurant called 'Family' which was really sweet, we sat outside, and although the food (as a vegetarian) was very similar to the stuff I ate at the hotel, the staff were really friendly, and inside on the wall behind the bar they had a massive collage of family photos which I thought was a really cute idea. We also went to Zorbas, which was really yummy. I had a margarita pizza and it was the nicest pizza ever. I had the nicest meal on holiday there!
The holiday overall was really nice, but two weeks I feel was quite long. Because the island is so small, there wasn't really much to do. We were going to hire a car, but there really wasn't much point. We didn't venture into Zante town though, which may be a bit more lively. As lovely as the hotel was, we wouldn't visit Zakynthos again purely because there isn't much to do. We could have done a boat trip to Kefalonia, which is the next nearest island, but it was nice just to relax by the pool.
I don't have much else to say about my holiday, but I will add some photos now, and if you have any suggestions of places to go, I'm all ears! I think next summer we are going to do a cruise around the Caribbean, and stop at Miami and go to Disney World. But I don't know for sure.

This was a photo I took that turned out well, but I literally had to chase the butterfly around the hotel looking like a crazy person.
There were loads of stray cats around, and this one was asleep under the sofa Rachel and I were sat on, and it just looked so cute!
On the same day as the jeep safari, taken where we stopped for lunch.
One evening we walked to the beach, and took a cheeky family selfie which turned out to be a cute photo.
This was taken from the boat during the turtle trip. We saw hundreds of coves like this one.
Ben, Rachel, Gerry, me and Elliott behind the bar for a pic with Gezza.
Basically everyone I met on holiday!
I hope you've been having a fun summer, and if you got results, you were pleased with them! Follow my blog if you enjoy my posts, and comment a hello if you like!

Catch Up Post
Hello! Wow. It feels like a lifetime ago that I last blogged! I've been busy busy busy. I promise though that this week, I am going to blog every day. I pinky promise. The summer has whizzed by so fast, and I've had a lovely time enjoying it. I went to Camp Bestival at the beginning of August, and the highlight for me was watching Gabrielle Aplin. She is the sweetest, and has a beautiful voice. Then I went to Zakynthos (Zante) for two weeks (I will do a proper big post on this) and yeah. I thought I would just update you in my life a little bit, because it feels like a lot has gone on. I went to the doctors before I went to Camp Bestival, and I have to go and get some blood tests, where I will be tested for three different hormones, diabetes, and polycystic ovaries (which my mum also had). I'm a bit nervous about it because having children is a huge milestone in my life that I want to fill, and I know how much my mum, and other sufferers of polycystic ovary syndrome struggle to conceive. So please send lots of happy, positive thoughts my way if you can spare them! I'm sure I'll be fine. I also have to have an ultrasound as well, and they can only perform it on a full bladder, so basically I have to drink two pints of water and not wee for up to an hour before the examination. I have a very week bladder. Wish me luck. I then went on holiday, and now I'm back. Life is still relatively mundane, I'm still single, I haven't fought with any of my friends, etc. Oh! I got my GCSE results! That was a palaver. Basically I couldn't collect my results on the same day as everyone else as I was still in Greece, so I got mine a day late. I got myself in a bit of a tizz before I even collected them, all of my friends did amazingly and I honestly am insanely proud of all of them, I cried when I found out how well some of them have done. But it made me all the more nervous to collect mine. I was crying in the car on the way, and my mum came into my school with me, to collect that from my exam organiser. She was really lovely, because I was a crying mess before I even opened it, and mum and I went round the corner to open it. I cried even more, because initially I was really distraught. I was upset, disappointed, and I didn't even really read what I'd got! Before I got my results, I said I would be happy as long as I passed all of them, and I did. I got two Cs (boo chem and physics), five Bs (bio, music, drama, maths and food tech) three As (English lit, English language and rs-this was what upset me, I wanted an A* in lit and rs), and an A* in history. On reflection, I actually did okay. But I was upset. And now I'm just relieved its all over really, and I'm ready to tackle biology, psychology, English lit and RS for A Level whoo. I miss school! I've just written my CV to apply for a job and I did some fancy bank stuff today and life is moving on and it is all very exciting/scary!
So that's basically what I've been up to, and I will be doing a detailed post on my holiday, and I have some ideas for blog posts, and I promise I will post every day until Saturday, even if it's just quick little behind the scenes type things.
Please comment to let me know what you think/what you want/for a chat, I've missed blogging very much!
